What You Should Know Before Arrival
Festival Host Hotel

We love partnering with the Shrewsbury Hampton by Hilton each year. The hotel is located just off I-83 Exit 4, only minutes away from the festival grounds. Because we expect the hotel to sell out for the festival weekend, we recommend booking early. Bonus: You’ll receive two free festival tickets when booking a room in our block and checking in on Friday. Click here to reserve a room in our block [new link for 2026 coming soon].

Parking

We have two nearby parking lots:

#1 — Glenview Alliance Church: 10037 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock, PA 17327

#2 — Stewart Connector: 11118 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock, PA 17327

The first shuttles will leave from both parking lots at 10 a.m. and run continuously throughout the day.

There is limited accessible parking at the festival site.

PLEASE NOTE: Priority for onsite parking is reserved for performers, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, vehicles with handicapped placards/tags, and guests who purchase a ticket add-on to bring in an EZ-up tent.

Pets?

Pets are NOT permitted within the festival grounds. Please leave your pets at home where they will be more comfortable. This rule is per the property owner and our insurance carrier.

Chairs

Some seating is provided but guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

Umbrellas/Tents

A limited number of 10×10 EZ-up tents will be permitted in designated areas. When you purchase your tickets through FreshTix, there will be an add-on charge if you want to bring in an EZ-up tent. There will be a cap of 25 spaces available and sales will end on May 31 for our planning purposes. If you purchase this add-on, you will also be able to park on site rather than transporting your EZ-up on a shuttle bus.

Outside Food and Beverages

No outside food and beverages may be brought onto festival grounds. We do make exceptions for infants/toddlers and those with food allergies. Please support our food vendors.

Tickets

Discounted advance tickets will be available online through 5 p.m. on the day before the festival. Tickets will also be available in person at That Pig Place at The Markets at Shrewsbury and at Pheasant Run Greenhouse through 5 p.m. on the day before the festival. We strongly encourage advance sales to reduce the amount of cash our volunteers are handling at the gate. Please help us by purchasing tickets in advance.

What You Should Know Once You Arrive at the Festival
Festival Re-Entry Permitted

If you want to leave the festival and return later in the day, please get an admission wristband before you leave, which will allow you to return later. Beer, wine, and whiskey may not be taken out of the fenced-in festival grounds.

Restrooms

Portable restrooms are located in several locations on the grounds (under tents to keep them cool and shaded).

Sunscreen

Complimentary sunscreen will be available at the First Aid Tent. Please be safe in the sun.

Lost Children

Lost children will be cared for at our First Aid Tent.

Credit Cards Accepted

We are able to accept credit cards at Admissions and Beverage Token Sales. In addition, most of our vendors accept cards but please be aware that some of our vendors only accept cash.

Smoking/Vaping

Smoking/Vaping is restricted to a designated area on festival grounds.

Make it a Long Weekend

What else is there to do in the area?

Please check out the website of Explore York, the official tourist promotion agency for York County, PA. There is so much to see and do in York County. Make it a long weekend and explore the area before or after our festival weekend. Our festival block is set up with discounted rates for a few days before and after the festival.

How Can I Support Penn-Mar Irish Festival?

VOLUNTEER! Our volunteer sign-up form will be live in early 2026. We are also in need of additional committee members and area captains for festival weekend. Please email us at PennMarIrish@gmail.com for more information. Community events rely on volunteers!

We have expenses throughout the year and are always interested in partnering with sponsors who are seeking marketing opportunities. We are currently accepting sponsorships for the 2026 festival.
