Sincere thanks to York Storyman for his work on this!

Featuring some of the best Irish musicians (traditional and contemporary) in Pennsylvania and Maryland, along with special guests, plus Irish dancers, Irish food, children’s activities, and a wide variety of vendors offering Irish goods including gifts, clothing, jewelry, music, books, pottery, photography, stained glass, and more.

THANK YOU to The Markets at Shrewsbury for providing space for our festival!

image descriptionWe are proud to participate in Give Local York again this year. Please consider a gift to help support our all-volunteer-run community cultural event. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in the past.

In this time of social distancing, we have the chance to come together (in spirit) to show our support for York County. On Friday, May 1, we will again be a part of York County’s annual day of giving — an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help the nonprofit organizations that are important to us.

We need your help! Please consider a gift if you are able. Even a modest gift of $10 – the price of a discounted advance festival ticket – is helpful. You can also aid us by asking your family and friends to join you in helping to make a difference.

Generosity has not been canceled! On Friday, May 1, starting at 12 midnight, please visit this link:  https://www.givelocalyork.org/organizations/penn-mar-irish-festival

You will have 24 hours to make a donation; all giving will end at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

Donations are especially critical this year as we incurred significant losses due to our cancellation. Items such as printing, advertising, promotional items, storage locker rental, deposits, etc. are all paid well in advance. This year, we will not have ticket income, vendor fees, or food and beverage sales to cover those costs.  (We will be offering virtual content on social media all day on June 20 and hope you will plan to join us.)

If you have any questions or would like more information, please let us know. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post and for your support and generosity.

Please stay safe!
