Many thanks to everyone who has donated to the festival during GIVE LOCAL YORK — always the first Friday in May. York County’s annual day of giving is an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help the nonprofit organizations that are important to us. We raised more than $4,000 in 2022 through Give Local York!

Donations are critical to our organization as we incurred losses due to our 2020 and 2021 cancellations. In 2020, items such as printing, advertising, promotional items, storage locker rental, deposits, etc. were all paid well in advance. There was no ticket income, vendor fees, or food and beverage sales to cover those costs.  We did offer virtual content on Facebook on our 2020 and 2021 festival dates and were thrilled for the return of in-person events in 2022.

We sincerely thank the Cultural Alliance of York County for matching funds.
